This three-part class will introduce small unmanned aircraft systems, as well as regulatory requirements for commercial use drones. Step by step training from unpacking, readying aircraft, preflight, flight and post flight will be conducted. Participants will perform basic and advanced maneuvering in all modes. By the end of the program, participants will have learned deployment of an aircraft, incident command interaction, establishing a safe operating area, mission identification, flight planning for operations, execution of the mission, post flight handling of data, and incident command reporting.
