You will learn the skills required to enter the healthcare sector and become a Phlebotomy Technician. This curriculum will instruct students to successfully collect samples from patients for laboratory tests in a skillful, safe, and reliable manner. Students will also learn how to assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions. This training also includes valuable hands-on experience so students will be prepared for a successful career as a Phlebotomy Technician. No medical background is required to enter this training. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will be eligible to apply to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam. Tuition includes all books, exam fees and instructional materials.
