You will learn the skills required to enter the healthcare sector and become a Certified Nurse Aide. This curriculum will instruct students to successfully perform required job duties including basic patient care, taking and recording vital signs, feeding for patients of all ages, gathering patient information, etc. No medical background is required to enter this training. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are eligible to apply to sit for the Virginia Board of Nursing exam for certification as a Nurse Aide. Clinical experience is incorporated into the curriculum and is a required component of this training. Tuition includes all books, exam fees, and instructional materials.
