e-Business Training from World Education

This e-business training program includes the following learning modules:

Management Strategies for e-Business

In this module, students focus on management and leadership essentials in the e-business environment.

You will learn various techniques for effectively managing and working within an e-economy. You will also learn how to utilize e-commerce to develop and grow your business online, as well as how to re-engineer various business processes to give you competitive advantage. This module also focuses on customer service, and return on investment in the e-business environment.

Marketing Strategies in e-Business

In this module, students learn the essentials of marketing, engaging with customers and promoting business on the Web.

Students learn effective techniques and strategies designed to enhance their ability to effectively use online technologies, including e-marketing, e-mail campaigns, data mining, and a variety of other tools to expand their market, and develop a strong online brand and corporate image.

e-Business Technology

Topics covered in this module of our e-business training course include database management, how to maximize your infrastructure to support the operations or your e- business, website design and development, search engines, intranets, internet speed and access, servers, intellectual property, and online security.

Legal Issues in e-Business

Over the course of this module, students examine a wide range of legal issues for the new economy. This is an intensive study of legal issues surrounding e-business.

This module is designed for attorneys, corporate executives, upper-level management, entrepreneurs, sales and marketing professionals, software developers, engineers and anyone else with an interest in the legal ramifications of doing business online.

Students from other business disciplines may also choose to include this module as part of a broader study of e-commerce and e-business.

Operations of the e-Business

This learning module includes an in depth examination of the processes necessary to provide strategic support within the e-business.

Basic operational issues are explored as they relate to the e-business environment.

Issues covered in this module include e-business financial transactions, project evaluation, managing virtual offices and virtual employees, as well as a host of other operational topics.

e-Commerce

In this final module of our e-business training, students explore a variety of special topics associated with e-commerce.

Students focus on website issues related to e-commerce transactions, catalogs, shopping carts, and serving customers through a wide range of distribution channels. The module also includes a detailed examination of the operational strategies peculiar to the e-retailing environment.

Katherine Pang, PhD, JD, LLM, MBA, MEd, MS

Dr. Pang has instructed, facilitated, and led numerous business skill courses including team building, building effective groups, and similar courses for several manufacturing companies including Weir SPM, Turbomeca, as well as the City of Arlington along with numerous top 100 law firms.

Dr. Pang served as a faculty member at the University of Texas at Tyler and has been an adjunct faculty member in the law and business/ schools of many universities including the Stern School of Business at New York University, the Graduate School of Management at the University of Texas, Dallas, Pepperdine University, USC, Golden Gate University, the University of California, Irvine, Regent University, and Northeastern University. Dr. Pang received her B.A. from Clark University, her J.D. from the University of Dayton Law School, her LL.M in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School, her M.Ed from the University of Texas, her MBA, MS (Psychology), and her Ph.D in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M Commerce. Dr. Pang also has two theology degrees.

Dr. Pang has over 20 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience in professional services, manufacturing and education oriented companies. Dr. Pang has served as founder, president, CEO, COO and CFO of several companies over the last 15 years. Prior to forming Corporate Growth Strategists, Dr. Pang was recruited to serve initially as COO/CFO and General Counsel for a Dallas-based CNC precision and assembly manufacturing company to effectuate a restructure of corporate obligations and operations. The successful reduction in corporate indebtedness and the substantial increase in cash-flow flowing from operational and financial changes resulted in Dr. P

Requirements

This program must be taken on a PC. There are no specific computer requirements other than an Internet connection (a high-speed or broadband Internet connection is highly recommended). In addition, you''ll need to have Internet Explorer, Adobe Reader, Flash Plug-in, and a QuickTime plug-in on your computer (all are available through free downloads).
