| Nursing Assistants are important members of the patient care team. They are directly responsible for providing patients with compassionate care through assistance with daily self-care tasks such as dressing, bathing, and feeding, as well as assistance with diagnostic procedures and general treatments. This course will provide a comprehensive overview of the nursing assistant profession, with instruction in all areas of patient care, patient management, and body system functions. Students will learn how to provide daily care to patients, as well as how to assist with technical treatments and basic diagnostic procedures such as vital sign assessment and pain identification. When a student completes this course, the student will be prepared to apply their skills to a clinical setting as a nursing assistant. Details
