This course serves as a prerequisite to Flux-Cored Arc Welding "FCAW" and Gas Metal Arc Welding "GMAW" and is designed to provide students with foundational knowledge of the welding sector prior to taking testing/credentialing welding courses or degree programs, or for initial consideration of welding careers before committing time for full courses. Covered curriculum in the class includes fundamentals and the process of welding, safety, basic tools and welding techniques. This class will also cover basic first aide, and proper PPE.
